So, as most of you know, I have been working on quite a project for work and I am SO excited to finally share it with all of you. Recently, our little agency has taken on the project of opening a recovery engagement center where people can come and meet with a recovery coach to plan their recovery from substance use! We received a very generous grant to help us open this facility and so our work began. We found the perfect building to purchase and renovate, and now that all of our work is done and Pathways Recovery Engagement Center is open I want to share it with all of you. My role in this project was doing the interior design work! Phew! What a project… major props to Joanna Gaines who does this every day.
So here is what we started with… a building in desperate need of some demolition and some love!
Seriously though… blue bathroom? No thanks! So, after a good amount of demolition, ripping up floors, knocking down walls, rebuilding, and LOTS of shopping we have this!! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all enjoyed seeing a little peek into my very big project! It was so much fun and such a learning experience for me. Have a great weekend!

Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to drop in to share this cute, cozy sweater with all of you! I bought this cutie at Madewell on my recent trip to D.C. and haven’t wanted to take it off since. I always have a really hard time finding longer sweaters that fit a petite frame well, so when I found this one I bought it immediately and I ordered two more colors when I got home!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep checking in because I’m currently working on a big post about my most recent work project!

You guys, I am the WORST. I promised more content and life has been so flipping busy that I did not follow through. However, I do have 5 (yes 5!!!) new posts coming your way in the next couple of weeks! First, I wanted to share with you all my weekend trip to D.C.! This trip was so fun!! I have never been to D.C. so I was so excited to do ALL of the “touristy” things and to catch up with my sweet friend Deb who lives there.
Dressing for this trip was slightly difficult as the weather kept fluctuating between 60 and 90 degrees… So, I settled for one of my favorite preppy looks and lots of layers. This wool skirt is one of my absolute favorite pieces from J.Crew last year and I wear it all the time! It was kind of a no brainer to take with me. Also, I can’t be the only one who loves to wear my Burberry scarf with just about everything?! I couldn’t leave home without it and it perfectly tied this outfit together.
Finally, I wanted to share this photo of the Lincoln Memorial at night with all of you. This is by far one of my favorite places I’ve been, it was absolutely breathtaking at night! I highly suggest waiting until dark to see this and the Washington Monument. I only have blurry photos of that which I am super bummed about.
I hope you all have a fantastic week! I’m working on my travel bucket list, where should I head to next?

Oh my goodness y’all, I’m so sorry that it has been so long since my last post. The LSAT is quickly approaching and I PROMISE that after I’m done testing, there will be so much more content! I did take a break this weekend from studying to have a little fun. I went to my old high school’s football game on Friday. It was the first time I’d been back since graduation and they won! Go Aggies! I also went to a viewing party for the McGregor/Mayweather fight with some girlfriends. Took everything I had and lots of snacks to be able to stay up to watch it. Today was much quieter and I spent most of the day in my pjs relaxing. My sweet friend August called and mentioned that it was perfect weather for a photo shoot so I quickly did my make up and ran outside in this fun outfit! I’m starting to think that I have a thing for white tops and jeans. 😉 I hope you all had the best weekend.
